Götas Youth Games is a two-day competition that attracts participants of all ages from across the country. The indoor version is usually held at the end of January in the Eva Lisa Holtz arena and includes heats in the hurdles as well as semifinals in the sprints, depending on the number of participants. The competition has become popular and is growing after the move to Karlstad's new athletics arena, with over 500 participants competing in various categories, including para-athletics.
